Sunday was our shopping day and we had to make a trip to Wegmans for chicken, chicken and more chicken. While we were shopping we stumbled across the candy aisle. I swear we have never been down this aisle before and guess what I found???? Fire balls and Jaw Busters. I managed to leave without buying any candy but I had to at least get a picture of it.
I tried to spend my gift certificate at Victoria’s Secret but there was nothing there. I even tried to buy this spray but all that was left was this tester bottle. My husband said he would take me to a different mall when I go on vacation next week and we may even make a lunch date at Red Robin..neither of us have even been to one.
While we were jumping from store to store we got to talking about family history and my husband asked when the first US Census was complete.would you believe that Siri told us it was in 1790? I would have never guessed that one.
We got home in time to watch the Ravens lose and then I spent the rest of the day in the kitchen. I made some Lime flavored water.
Cut up and bagged cabbage for my meals this week.
I can not express enough to you how much ziplock bags save me on time in the morning. I have been slacking on a lot of my “competition” habits and really need to get back to it. Being prepared is not something that you can call “overrated”.
I made my basic ground turkey. I like to make a simple base and I can add something different to each meal to make it less boring.
Today we added Garlic Gold Nuggets, seasoned salt and minced onions and cooked it on the stovetop.
I made my husband boil eggs. We are finally figuring out how to make hard boiled eggs without losing half the egg when trying to peel the shell off. We want to try it a few more times before I share the secret with ya’ll.
I bagged up the rest of the chicken from this weekend.
The ground turkey is bagged up for my husband and I this week. I am totally prepared and ready for the new work week.even if it will be a short week for me.
Are you prepared for the week ahead?
