I’m updating my blog while I’m catching up with some of the Judge shows my husbands has on the DVR. These people are crazy but not as crazy as my family. I could have seen myself on one of these shows.
It’s been a pretty good day and that is a major change from how I have been feeling. I’ve been taking my vitamins and have been writing my feelings down to help me work through some things. The gym this morning was much needed and I felt pretty darn good afterwards. I even took some time to meet up with a friend (doctors orders) because I need to get out and being social is good for my health. It’s important to have close friends and share good time and talk through difficult times.
Anyways, I decorated my car with my collection of twistbands so that I can always pull my hair up when needed and now that my hair is longer.I need it! So far I’m loving the bands and they don’t pull my hair like other do. I still want to test a few other things and I will do a better post later on this.
It was shoulder day at the gym at I’m really working on seeing some results now. I don’t want to head into prep and feel like I’m starting from scratch. As it stands now I am going to compete in two shows this year and I want to look like I belong up there. The last thing that I want it to come in last. I’m going to give it all I got and really show progress from where I was in October. This is just the beginning of a whole new life for me.

Don’t say anything about my mean looks.you can’t look cute and kickass at the gym. I need to look mean. Did it work?
It got hot (a good sign I was kicking butt) and had to shed the sweatshirt. I hate to show skin in the gym but I must admit that I love watching my muscles work and pop as I am doing reps. Muscles are sexy!
My hair is a mess (another sign of a good workout).
I even took pictures so I can monitor progress and I did not even care about the lady giving me strange looks while I showed off in the mirror.
Adding in more protein to help the muscles grow..it’s simple math really..eat to grow.
I was super happy to add avocado to my meal today because it’s been awhile since I’ve added it to any of my meals. It was like a yummy healthy treat and those are always good.
