Dawn's Journey to Living Healthy and Losing Weight
Life around here has been pretty busy and I don’t see things slowing down anytime soon. I really want to get the house in order before May gets here. We have lots we want to do to the house so we are working to get those things in order.
The weather here has been a bit crazy and I saw a great “picture opportunity” that I had to take advantage of. I think it looks pretty cool.
rain can be so beautifulGreg and I were headed to Wal-Mart for a few items and he decided to take a detour at the carpet store. We need to get carpet and new flooring in the bathroom and kitchen so we were looking at some possible options. The carpet feels amazing. You don’t realize how bad your own carpet is until you feel “new” carpet. We are looking for a color that will be forgiving if my Chihuahua decides to make a mess.

flooring for the bathroomAfter we did some floor shopping we finally made it to Wal-Mart and found these chips (we were not looking for them.they found us). My husband wanted to try them so I will let you know what we think after we test all 3 flavors.

chest day progressAfter the gym my husband and I made a trip to Lowes to look for appliances and items for the bathroom. After a good workout I thought this next picture was appropriate. American muscle..the picture says it all.
american muscle…love the logoDid you know that there were so many options for toilets? We want a “handicap” toilet because my husband has a bad back and it’s hard to use the smaller ones. I need one for those days after a good leg workout when DOMS starts to kick in.y’all should know all about that.

I have that same sink my bathroom! I love it and it really looks nice! My bathroom is small and it really is a space-saver!
That’s really good to hear. I think that’s the one we will buy the size is perfect for our bathroom.
I love home improvements and body improvement! I like that sink a lot. It is similar to ours..and I really like that fridge. I want a new one too! Chicken and Waffles lays?!? HA!
We have had a lot of things on the house “to-do” list that we are just getting around to. I hope we can get this all done by spring.

I do like the flooring choice. Nice! We redid our kitchen floor and never thought to get the same flooring for the dining room duh. Of course you know what came next…they no longer sold it. So we had to get a different one.
We are throwing back and forth the idea of going hardwood floor for the rest of the house. Getting rid of all carpet. Yikes!
We got rid of the carpet in my walk-in closet and the office. We need the rug in our main rooms for our chihuahua. I love the hardwood floors we went with and makes the house look so much better.
