I will make this post as short and sweet as I possible can. I woke up this morning at 5am so I could head to LA Fitness for my shoulder workout. I knew today would be difficult with getting up so early and planning to watch the ball drop but I figured I could manage it. After all I can sleep in tomorrow.
I drove all the way to the gym to see that they were not open even though the website said they were open at 5am. I was not a happy girl this morning. What a waste of a good preworkout drink.
In good news I was able to get home and had plenty of time to get ready for work. Even with this closet I still can’t seem to find anything to wear. I really need to do some more shopping.
The rest of my day was spent up those stairs and at my desk. It was not terrible today. Most people were off work so it was slow and I was able to catch up on lost of gossip! See, I look at the glass as half full..not half empty.
Tonight my husband and I will be catching up on some items on the DVR plus we have some adult beverages and tomorrow I am back on plan.
I was not going to write out my goals or resolutions because I’ve already discussed how I am going to compete in two figure shows next year and that I want to work on building muscle.
There are a few things that I did want to have written down that I plan on working towards to make myself a better person.
~ Stay in touch with friends via Skype or facetime
~ Make better use of my time and plan my days with my calendar
~ Read 12 books in 2013
~ Use daily mile to keep track of all my cardio miles
~ Make more family time and not be afraid to “unplug” to give full attention to my husband and Chihuahua
~ Smile more
~ Walk with my head high and with confidence
