Not much going on today but lots to talk about. I had some adjustments done to my blog today.some behind the scene things but I do have a a way for you to sign up for blog updates via email. It of course is a lazy football watching kinda day even though the Ravens don’t play until next week.

Friday night I made some lime flavored water with my Christmas gift from my stepson. I have been lusting after this Fruit Infusion Pitcher for several months and I got an Amazon gift card that allowed me to finally buy this. 51Qm8BxU0ZL__SL500_AA300_

I have only used it once so far.my husband bought some limes for me to use and I was really pleased so far with the way it works. I think the next one I make will have apple slices in it.

Ok, If you read my post from earlier today you will see I joined a picture taking challenge this month. It looks like fun and a great way to use my camera more.

I spent some time today trying to move some things around in our bedroom and get rid of a few things. I’m happy with what I got accomplished in the cleaning department this afternoon.

Now that I am off on the weekends Greg has decided that he wants to cook a new food every Sunday with me. I love the idea don’t they say.”The family that cooks together stays together”? I don’t know.but, it sounds good to me. My husband is the one who usually does all the family cooking.yeah, I cook for myself but when we eat as a family he does the cooking.he likes it better that way. This week we decided to make baked ziti for dinner.something we have never tried before. We made it simple and will add things to it next time.

I was happy with how our first try at the dish turned out.plus it was a great way to do something together and spend some quiet time at home.

I would say it was a great end to a perfect day.

That pitcher looks like a great kitchen item! I won’t get one, because my kitchen is crowded enough. But I’d like one. Normally I flavor water by squeezing lime into it, or dropping some berries in.

What a great idea and it looks so pretty too! I prefer my water plain, but I wonder if that would work with ice tea? Cooking these days has become a challenge. I just can’t seem to please everyone unless the food involves ketchup or pizza, ugh.

I have never even seen the fruit infusion pitcher, but it definitely looks interesting. You might want to try cucumber slices for a refreshing drink.
