By now you should know that I’m all about saving time when I’m doing my food prep and I like to add spices in on a whim to change the flavor of what I eat. Let’s face it, my meals can by quite boring and spices and condiments are what keep me sane.
When I was offered the opportunity to try fresh frozen herbs I had to give it a go. I must say that what sold me on the whole idea was the ginger and garlic because I hate cutting them up but they can add so much flavor to a meal. Since I got the spices to try I’ve added the salade to my salsa, avocado, ground turkey and hot sauce mixture that I usually eat in the mornings. I’ve also added the garlic and parsley to my egg white omelet that I make in the evenings (yes, I love to eat breakfast for dinner). I love that I don’t have to give my meals a lot of thought beforehand and at the last minute I can reach in the freezer and add a different spice based on my mood (and my mood is always changing…I am a woman after all). I have not made a pasta dish yet but I figured the parsley or the salade would be great to garnish with.
The other morning I made my veggies for a few days with the ginger and parsley and it’s super simple and I made them in about 5 min with cutting the cucumbers and mixing everything together. If you checked out my blog here you will see the video I made explaining how to mix it all together. I was a little concerned with how the ginger would react to not being cooked because they are frozen but really it was nothing to worry about.
Take a few min to prep the cucumbers by removing the skin and slicing them up. Place the cucumbers and the following ingredients into a container and mix it all together.

What you need:
Salt and Pepper
Mix everything together in a bowl and just add to your liking. I really don’t measure out spices because I spend so much of my time measuring out everything else.
