If there is one thing that I have learned so far this year it is that life NEVER settles down. There will always be something major or some kind of drama to slow things down. Just when I am starting to come to terms with the fact that I may never see my daughter again something else happens.

The last two weeks I have been dealing with different medical issues with my husband. His month did not start out on a good note.he was walking through the local grocery store and a display of starbucks coffee fell over and he walked past. He opened a glass door in the freezer section that shattered as soon as he opened it and then as he was trying to pay for his items a groups of balloons fell over at the register. About a week after that “sign” he makes an emergency trip to the ER in the middle of the night and did not tell me he was going.I woke up and had no idea where he was (I was scared to death). It turns out he has nerve damage from a fight from when he was about 18 years old and its just now coming back to haunt him.

The final string of bad luck was last weekend we went to the mall and on the way home he decided he wanted a meatball sub from subway. This turned out to be a bad when he was up all night sick from the sub he got. I have never seen anyone with food poisoning before and I never want to see it again after last weekend. It’s a good reason to cook your own food. Be responsible for what you put into your body. He got so sick last weekend that he passed out. It took every ounce of energy he had and his body could not function any longer. He was out for about 30 seconds but that was long enough to scare the crap out of me.

I don’t think I could ever eat at another subway again. He was just so violently sick..it took almost a week for him to start feeling better.

So, this is what has been going on in my world.what’s new with you?

Have you ever had food poisoning?

HappyValentinesDay

I was a good day! I got my Valentines gift a little early.it was some Bombshell perfume from Victoria Secret. We do not go out for Valentine’s Day and this year it would not happen anyways because my husband had to have emergency surgery done this weekend on his tooth.

It was a good day at work..we got word that I will be able to purchase an iPhone 4s on March 1st!!!! I have been waiting forever for this news. I work for Verizon Wireless and they wanted to make sure that all the customers that wanted one could get theirs first.

I have my winner for the Dale and Thomas Popcorn. It was Shanna! Congratulations!

Today was a day to spend with my husband..I took the day off to take care of some things with my daughter but she is still not home.and I decided to keep my day off work and relax. I did not get to do that when I had a week off early in January so today was nice (all things considered). My husband and I went shopping and then back home for me to cook my meals. My cooler is all packed and ready to go tomorrow. 8.5 hours of work tomorrow and then my weekend is HERE!!! Whoot!

On Wednesday I took at trip the the store before work for some items that were missing from my file cabinet “collection”

Several Mrs. Dash seasoning products and a new product I have not tried yet but I figured it might come in hand one of these days. I love having items with me at work that I can spice up or change any of my meals at a moments notice. I need some variety.

There was an odd story that I heard about on Cosmo radio the other day that I wanted to share with you. Did you hear about the Teacher who sprayed her student with Febreze after his fishy lunch? There area  few people I would love to do this to.haha! I’m not saying that she was right.but, I can understand.

Don’t forget to check out my giveaway for Dale and Thomas Popcorn. It’s really good and here is your chance to not take my word for it.try it yourself and see.

3415_327e116b6fbe47acb9f3eecff8b25cecI got a surprise on my doorstep last week when I was sent Dale and Thomas Popcorn to review . I was sent a box of different flavors to review. I was a little reluctant to try it.I’m not big on popcorn but this is a cool concept. I tried the Peanut Butter & White Chocolate Drizzle Corn (really.anything with peanut butter is a plus in my book!) and all I could think was this would be awesome when “TOM” comes to visit me.the sweet and salty is a perfect combination. Oh the cravings we women can have.

I tried to get the best picture I could of the popcorn from the other night.it really does have drizzled peanut butter and white chocolate.

My husband said they are “addictive” and was impressed with how good they were..like I said I was reluctant to try it and so was he. He even agreed with me that this is a perfect gift idea and they have so many different flavors to choose from so you are sure to find one that will interest you. I was sent a significant amount of samples and even took some to work with me when we have a “movie” night and once again I got good feedback and there were so many flavors to choose from so I was able to make everyone happy with the choices presented.

I’m going to offer you a chance to get your own Dale and Thomas Popcorn to try out for yourself. I don’t do giveaways often so you should really take advantage of this offer. I decided to do this review because I would have never tried this popcorn if it did not show up on my doorstep and I’m glad it did.I want you to have the chance to try it also.

Go on over to Dale and Thomas Popcorn and let me know what flavors you would like to try. Leave me a comment with your blog link or email address and don’t be afraid to share this giveaway with others on Facebook or Twitter.

I will pick a winner on Sunday February 12, 2011 at 5:00 PM (EST)

***Please note that they can only ship to the contiguous United States so the winner cannot live in Hawaii or Alaska. Also, no shipments to P.O. Boxes.

I guess I am a little late to hop on this bandwagon..however, I am going to start this program next week. That will give my time to look over the program and fully understand what I am getting into..prepare to succeed.that’s my motto!

I spent some time looking over the program and reading a few blogs that have completed or just started the program and it looks like a good program and should not be difficult to follow. The results I have seen so far look great and I’m not really following a plan and I like how it starts out a little slow. No cardio the first 4 weeks just weights (sounds perfect to me). The program is in three phases and its easy to get started..check it out here.

Jamie Eason has had some great feedback from the program that she put together and tested it with herself and her family before making it available and FREE to the public. I see a lot of people who are not following the program fully.they will do the workouts but not eat as suggested. I’m going to try to follow the program as it was laid out to really give it a chance to work like it was intended.

The program is geared toward workouts at the gym but there are also videos on how to workout if you are not able to make it to a gym. I’m sure I will have more to day about this as time goes on but for now I just wanted to make it known that I will be completing this program and would love to have you join me in this new adventure.

This week will be a week to prepare for the 12 week program and I will do my normal cardio/weigh training until I start next Monday. Let me know if you want to join in with me or let me know if you have already started to completed the program. I would love to hear your story.
